Taiwan Embassy donates vegetable seeds to UNRE

THE Taiwan Embass y in Papua New Guinea recently donated various Taiwan vegetable seeds to PNG University of Natural Resources and Environment. The seeds were handed to Dr Caleb Manamik Breria of the University of Natural Resources and Environment (UNRE) during his visit as an alumni of the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. Dr Breria paid a courtesy call on Taiwan Ambassador His Excellency Oliver Liao in Port Moresby two weeks ago after visiting the University’s Popondetta campus. During the visit they discussed how to promote agricultural cooperation between Taiwan and PNG and Ambassador Liao also handed the Taiwan vegetable seeds to Dr. Breria who delivered them to the University’s Agriculture Department.
